Quote from Tyren on general forum:

Monsters 3+ levels higher than the attacking player were resisting spells at a greater rate than intended. This has been addressed, and players will now be able to land spells with greater success.

Update:
Boss monsters in Molten Core, Onyxia, Azuregos, and Kazzak had their HP increased to compensate for the increase in caster DPS they will see.

Lovely. :(

So you will feel like you are doing more damage but it will take just as long to kill the mob :)

so this means that my caster alts will have better chance of killing mobs higher level than themselves, and our casters in raids won't see "resist" in the combat log all the time?

Are caster spells being resisted *really* that much in raid situations? And how is this going to effect aggro management if more of their spells do actually land?

Yes, we do see resist a lot. =)

And I doubt it will change agro management all that much. Casters will learn faster than rogues when they pull agro from the nice splatter they leave. =)

Only Damage Meter will tell :)

Note, too, that this is mobs that are +3 and higher. So in MC, most of the mobs will remain the same. We may have to fine tune aggro management for destroyers. Before, I normally got around 40% resist rate from them on Frostbolts, if not higher.
