I can't tell the difference between the New Post dots and the Old Post dots. The yellow and orange run together on me. Could we change one of them to a color that would stand out more? Like blue, green, white, etc?

there are 3 colour schemes to this forum, selectable from your profile. I went back to the one I used on the previous forum. mew!

Sorry bout the bad button colors guys. I'm still tweaking stuff.
I started with this (http://www.phpbb.com/styles/forum/index.php?style=196), so I think I've made pretty good progress. Especially since I started it the night before it went live and only had about six hours to do it before I had to go to bed.
Upcoming improvements:
* changing the color for new posts. DONE
* redoing the reply/quote/edit/etc buttons (I changed my mind after finishing them)DONE
* integrating the navigation bar from the front page (which I also still need to finish!)DONE
* there are also some background/text conflicts that don't look very good that I need to isolate and fix.DONE
Anything else anyone doesn't like on the default theme?

Unless someone tells me otherwise or has further suggestions/feedback. I hereby declare the default skin done and fully functional and useable. And pretty!
I'll be making minor alterations to the other available skins, namely in the way of the mini-navigation box on the front page.

The DKP link should go to a slightly different address. But that won't be ready until later!
Also, the thread history box below where you compose a post is bright grey. Any way of fixing that to be dark grey?

default style doesn't look bad, but I find the colour combination of the text on background to me very hard for me to read, so I'm going to stick with the subBlack theme. The text is just too dark on my puter setup.
looks nice otherwise, though. ^_^

I had to change the color. it was difficult to read with that color combination. Otherwise the site looks great. How about some seperate class forums? Just an idea. :-)

I can barely read the default text color/size on a black background.

The text used to be larger, but it seems to have gotten altered by accident at the same time we opened the boards up. I shall talk to Kassany.

* not enough text/background contrast FIXED [at least as far as I can tell. "Color combinations are hard to read" is kind of vague, is the text too dark? just don't like yellow/gold? too small?]
* forum names done got shrunk FIXED

lol, my comment about the colours being hard to read was a personal thing, I guess - not enough contrast between the 2 colours, and the font size is still too small for my liking. I'll just use the other one as long as it has the same functionality. mew!

I switched to the style from the old forum.

We're working on fixing up the font sizes on the skin we built. Apparently the phpBB group likes to have the info in the CSS file located in several different files (instead of just referencing the CSS file). So it's taking some time to do something as simple as increasing post font size to 12 point instead of 10 point.

There. Are posts easier to read now?
I know that Topic review is still gayass, but it's being worked on.

much better. I can work with this now. It'll just take some getting used to the "widgets" in what's new posts, etc. I was comfortable with the old style. mew!

There are a lot of things in the works. Items still include:
Implements prettier new post buttons.
Fix topic review so it isn't gold on grey. Fixed
Fix the "sticky" and "announcement" text to not be black on grey. Fixed
Alter the borders around everything to be a darker gold, to differentiate from the text. Fixed
Make linked text either brighter or darker, or have some sort of text decoration like an underline.
Change the Admin control panel headers to not be yellow text on yellow table.
Get the DKP subdomain functioning.
Get the main page content management up and functional (currently using HTML).
