but on the "WTF" front, the Horde has a quest for a green fishing pole. Alliance has no such equivalent. http://www.thottbot.com/?i=40326

Well, it's quite obvious that the horde were meant to spend their retirement at an Oasis in The Barrens with their cool green fishing pole. This is working as intended.

A quest is much nicer than swimming around in Desolace looking through those damn lobster traps for hours that only contain 3 types of sandles, lobsters that cannot be sold or eaten, and monsters to be spam moonfired...

btw fishing at 245 ftw!

p.s. I'm too much of a cheapskate to buy one in the AH =p

You get that fishing pole yet, Sel? Also, the horde one is +25 to fishing, not just +20 to fishing. =(

I got one on my horde character on another server in less than 30 min!
This character however doesn't seem to have the same amount of luck, (my troll didn't even have a snowshoe rabbit or a squirrel, so I'm baffled)
Aww well maybe if i see one cheap enough in the AH i'll break down and buy one... :(
much hatred to the horde for getting +25 to fishing though
